Accommodations

All tourist accommodations(hotels, resorts, guest houses and lodges) we work with are selected and approved by the government of Bhutan (Tourism Council of Bhutan). The quality of service and facilities may differ. During the peak season, guests may be accommodated either in hotels, resorts, guest houses or farm houses, depending on their availablilty.There is no star categorization of hotels.

Thesetourist hotels, resorts, guest houses and lodges in Bhutan are built with traditional Bhutanese architecture and provide comfortable rooms. Hotels and lodges in western Bhutan, namely Paro, Thimphu, Punakha and Wangdue have better accommodation facilities than in central and eastern Bhutan. All hotels and lodges accept reservation on first come, first serve basis. The hotel accommodation charge is included in the tariff.

Luxuryaccommodations are also available insomedestinations like Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey, and Bumthang, upon extra payment apart from the package tariff. The cost of luxury hotels ranges from US$ 250 to 1500 per night. Please check our Boutique Travel page for more details.
